Cute/Casual or Flashy?
I'm going into 9th grade and I can't decide whether my outfit should be cute/casual or flashy for the first day of school. I don't want to seem like I'm trying to hard and at the same time and I don't want to look like every other person. And also, is a purse a necessity for a girl in 9th grade? I used to wear one in 6th and some of 7th grade and not at all in 8th grade. I feel weird every time I wear one now. Please help! Thank you! :)

Is there anyway you could incorporate cute, casual and flashy in one outfit? That would be really neat. But you don't wanna be to flashy, you might get negative attention instead of positive. As for the purse, I prefer to carry as an accessory to my outfit. But I also use it to carry little things I might need. But its all up to you, because sometimes my purse gets too heavy or I will forget and lay it down.
wear what you feel comfortable in but make sure its nice, I would say mix a little bit of cute and flashy. maybe some dark skinny jeans, high heels, simple shirt with jewelry to match the shoes. Don't forget cute hair.
Purse is not a necessity. Though sometimes it is nice, just make sure you dont leave it somewhere and walk off. I have that problem a lot. if you dont feel comfortable then dont take one. High school isn't as dramatic as everyone makes it sound. Just be yourself and you'll have an amazing 4 years with all your best friends. I love high school. =]
I suggest cute and casual. But then I don't like being social. That is what matters. If you want people to notice you, then flashy. I'd prefer to let them get to know me first. Also, purses are never required. I'd get a quiet one that looks good with everything, but only carry it when I need it.
