Dead Space 1 vs Dead Space 2?
A co worker thinks I should just get Dead Space 2, because it newer (coming out tomorrow). I though I should get Dead Space 1 because I can get it for $17 or less.
So I go with the old that is cheaper, or new that is more expensive?
Update:I downloaded the demo for DS2 on xbox live, Played it last night. I like it, but I realize its not the same game as DS1.

I always recommend getting and playing the first title of a series. I bought but haven't had a chance to play DS2 yet. I think DS2 will be scarier (if possible) but 1 will be better story wise. The twist in 1's story helped make it the great game that it was among many other things. I'm not fully sold on the story for DS2 yet.
Get the first one, you'll save money and find out if you like it enough to get the sequel. By the time you're done you might find the new one at a sale price. Unless you are only planning to play multiplayer, but it really isn't the focus of the game.
i think u should get both.. first u get the story more.. second it is only 17$ and something over the 50$ for dead space 2
