direct TV guide screen?
On our direct tv when we bring up the guide screen it is not streatching to fit the whole screen. It used to expand to be the same size as the tv's screen but now its not and its smaller and hard to read. For the life of me I can not figure out how to fix this despite seeming to remember doing it once before. Anyone know how to fix this or even what I am talking about?
Update:When the TV is on regular satalite it works fine with no problems. The problem is when you access the guide that shows you whats on, the screen with the guide is shrunken and not expanded, but you select a show, the show is seen normally on screen

Press the GUIDE button over and over...it will cycle thru the different guide setups....
Make sure your TV is set to automatically display in the best format (that you are not set to only display a 4:3 ratio, or something specific). That way your TV will automatically adjust to the content/channel.
purely feels like a service call situation. this would many times ensue while the sign is impaired. that is something from an improperly put in installation to an obstruction in between the dish and the relay station sign, to a kinked cable. do no longer provide up wish yet.
try resetting it by unplugging your box for a few minutes and then letting it reload that usually works. good luck
