My husband and I are purchasing annual passes for Disneyland today. Which card should we get? Should one get a deluxe and the other a premium? Both deluxe? Both Premium? One with parking included, one without? In your experience which card do you like the best and why? I don't want to get the same card, if we will benefit from one having a premium and the other a deluxe. We would be going a lot together. Not sure if it matters, but we live in So Cal. Thanks!

The Premium Pass gives no blockout days, has parking included, and gives you 10% off on merchandise(total purchase over $10), and 15% off on food(at most locations).
The Deluxe Pass has about 50 blockout days, parking can be added for $79, and gives you 10% off on food(at most locations). You can purchase a Blockout ticket if you want to go on a blockout day for $45.
The price difference between the two is $140.
The Deluxe pass has holiday periods and Saturdays during the spring and summer blocked out. If those are days you do not plan to go on then there is no reason to spend the extra money on a Premium. If you plan on going at least twice on days that would be a blockout day then get the Premium. Because it is very unlikely that you are going to spend enough at the Resort to make the additional discounts on the Premium worth while strictly for the discount reason. If one person would be going on blockout days and the other person won't then go ahead and get one Premium and one Deluxe. Since the premium has parking the one who gets the deluxe does not need to add parking. You can then use their pass for the additional discounts.
If you both do get the Deluxe Pass I would still suggest the parking. But you only need to get it on one pass as the person only has to be in the car. So get it on the pass of the person who will be going there more, if one would be going more than the other.
Being in So Cal does matter as you can take advantage of the Monthly Payment Plan if you want. Here you pay a downpayment of $72 then link a credit/debit card for automatic payments the rest of the year.

Well im just a kid, and i have my whole summer. so i usually go during the week (: i have the deluxe pass, but since you are an adult and more than likely one of you work, there wont be alot fo time to go together during the week, so Premium would fit you best and you get free parking(: Just remember when you get premium you have NO blockout dates so you can go during christmas time, when disneyland is at its best :D and i wouldnt mix and match deluxe with premium because deluxe blocks out most weekends and key holidays when its best to go... although if you have deluxe to buy a "blockout ticket" is only $45..
well i hope this helped,
hope you buy the Premium, youll be happy you bought it once you visit with your new pass (:
I go all the time so i got the premium
