I was swimming in a pool and noticed a large ant drifting in the water. I took him out but he looked like he was dead. For 20 minutes I nudged him gently in an attempt to revive him but there was no movement. Then I thought I saw a foot twitching but I thought maybe it was just the wind making it move. I kept on nudging him and then the foot clearly began to twitch. Eventually the legs twitched, then later he walked and cleaned his antennae. Was he unconscious? Why did he wake up?
