Do Apple computer stores do any extras if you ask?
I'm looking to buy an Macbook Pro, but would quite like MS Office to go with it. Given the price of the MB Pro, is there any chance I could say to them sort of - "I'll buy this very second if you throw in MS Office for free".
Anyone know thier levels of flexibility? Thanks

I'm pretty sure the person you ask would smile at you and say "nope, sorry", then try and sell you a copy of iWorks 08.
A free alternative to MS Office would be http://www.neoofice.org/
i very much doubt it, they don't in London.
But they have discounts for students, teachers, public sector workers etc, from about 6 to 14 per cent.
Plus see if you can get office from the home purchase HUP scheme, it works out at about £15.
