I've had numerous arguments with my next door neighbors. Each time they've called the cops on me to attempt to get me arrested but it never happened. The police would show up and just listen to my side of the fight and then they'd leave. The last time it happened, a couple of years ago, I didn't even answer the door for them as I was so sick of dealing with it, so they knocked and then just left.
If my neighbors ever filed a police report or complaint against me would this go on my record? Would prospective employers be able to see these potential complaints or reports when they do a background check?
BTW, I never received a ticket or summons or anything from the police indicating that they had filed anything against me so I really have no clue if they did or didn't. I'm just afraid that they may have and that it may show up on a background check.
Thanks very much for any help/info.
Update:Thanks Alexa and Allan... and don't worry Allan, I won't be killing anyone! ;O)

There are No criminal charges against you to show.
But...
There is a record in the reports of incidents that remain on record.
So if any of those neighbors were to be found dead, then you would be thoroughly Interrogated, and would be considered a suspect until proven otherwise. So hope that nothing bad happens to them.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOrbB
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.
I recommend you check with a legal professional, but I don't think you have to worry unless you've been arrested or been brought to court to fight a lawsuit.
