Its fine to me.
AP classes are supposed to be VERY hard..at my school they only offer AP to juniors and seniors and these are all year long classes and VERY difficult...but maybe they are dif where you go.
As a junior my schedule is as follows
Band-all year, 40 min
Jazz Band-all year, 40 min
American Literature-all year, 40 min
Sociology-9 weeks, 80 min
Psychology-will have nxt 9 weeks, 80 min
Honors Chemistry-18 wk or 1 semester, 80 min
Spanish 2-18 wk/1 semester, 80 min
Life Planning-mandatory class 2nd semester 80 min, 9 wk class
Parenting-2nd semester 80 min, 9 wk class
Bio 2 Honors-2nd semester, 80 min
Geometry Honors-2nd semester, 80 min
If you like your classes then why change them?
I took all of the AP classes you are (plus AP College English), and it definitely wasn't easy. Journalism is not for the faint of heart, either. Don't feel bad about not having as many AP as your friends. To be honest, if you took all AP classes, you'd be burnt out. Debate is a lot of fun, by the way! I took it in high school, and had a blast going to tournaments. Have a great semester.
I know from experience it gets pretty hard. So congrats to you for doing as best as you can and taking on all that. That's all that matters. You don't have to follow them. You do what you can and what you want to do.
