Well it depends of course if you like parmesan cheese! The combination is ok, but personally although I like both I prefer cheese on pasta and lots of butter (the real thing) on my popcorn!
Yep. Toss it with butter first then add the cheese so it sticks and doesnt get all stuck at the bottom. They have white chedder powder stuff at the movie theatres that you shake on your popcorn and that's good so I don't see why you'd think this wouldn't be good.
I guess it does. At our movie theatre you can shake on about 4 different "flavors" of stuff. A friend use to shake chili powder on their popcorn. Skies the limit. Give it a try! ;-)
yes, any cheese such as parm, romano, etc that is grated is very good on popcorn and you know its natural cheese and not pure chemicals like you get at the theaters.

try it.
Use a chunk of good quality paresan cheese and a microplane grater. Just grate a bit right onto the hot popped corn.
I also will sometimes grind a little black pepper into the popping oil before popping. The cheesy-peppery flavor is yum.

What I do with popcorn is pretend it is puffed wheat or puffed rice and put it in a bowl with milk and sugar and eat it like puffed wheat.
