I bought two red velvet colored coral platies the other day, one female one male. I had both in my male tank. My female doesn't appear to be pregnant. I've only had her for a week. Are coral platies difficult to breed? Can they breed with regular platies? My males haven't really shown any interest in her..but my male coral platy followed my big mama platy while he was in the female tank for a day.
