I'm a bachelor, almost to exact definition. When I cook, I burn water. Anyone have any easy recipes for dinner or lunch that don't take too much know how concerning cooking?
I'll eat pretty much anything at least once, I eat red meat about once a week, love Asian food ( Korean food especially ) and Mexican food. Thanks-Starvin' Marvin aka Big Head Jar Head

You should look into cooking with a crock-pot or some other type of slow cooker. They are usually used for meat but you really can find all kinds of recipes for them. You put in the ingredients in the morning, let it cook all day, and its done by dinner time. All you have to do is prep some things and dump them in a pot. Best of all, it is next to impossible to burn anything this way.
Also, look around in the deli section at your supermarket. A lot of them these days make rotisserie chicken and other kinds of meats in house and they are pretty well priced. I do a lot of cooking, but I often buy chicken this way and use it to make other things. I make tortilla soup with it and I honestly think it is better that it would be if I roasted my own chicken.
Try a shepard's pie. It's easy, quick and delicious :-) Fry up ground beef with chopped onion and drain the excess fat. Put it in a lightly greased (i use pam) casserole dish and even it out. Get a can of creamed corn and spread over the meat. You may need 2 cans, depending on how big of a casserole you're making. Make mashed potatos in a seperate pot and then top them over the creamed corn. Bake at 375 until the top is golden brown and bubbling (about 30-40 minutes)
