So i'm about to be a sophomore in high-school and when I was in 8th grade I wanted to go to FSU. I went to California for spring break of freshman year and I got to check out UCLA and the campus and everything, I fell in love. I've been trying to get a straight answer of do they offer Equestrian Scholarships because that's the only way I'd get to go without having to take out a huge loan to get an education and get a college degree and everything. Loans...are a no no. I'm not trying to take my student debt to my grave and I'm not trying to have any. So can anyone please tell me...I need a yes or no...does UCLA offer EQUESTRIAN SCHOLARSHIPS? If so...how do I get one? I want to start working on this as soon as possible because I need to have this figured out...if I don't...I'll be walking across the stage, graduating high-school and not knowing how I'm going to pay for college and it's going to be a wreck.

If you are not also a student who would qualify for academic scholarships, then it isn't likely you would ever find an equestrian scholarship
most equestrian programs will not even admit a student who isn't a scholar as well as an equestrian athlete
since you will be a sophmore in high school, you need to work hard --- at least an unweighted GPA of at least 3.75. you will need high ACT & SAT scores.... so invest in prep-classes, study smart & get sleep the night before those tests
I don't know if UCLA offers equestrian scholarships.... most schools who have NCAA or IHSS programs do not offer them (don't need to) and/or only offer small amounts..... those that do, usually only offer them to spectacular students who are also exceptional riders (winning competitions on national level)
