Fafsa financial aid question please?
I know nothing about applying for aid or school. I am an adult and this is my first consideration for this so I need help understanding. Ok the program I am interested in begins January 24, 2014. Do i need to apply on fafsa NOW on the 2013/2014 app? Or do I wait until after jan 1st and apply for the 2014/2015 application?
Also, do I wait until I am enrolled in the program before applying fafsa?

What you should do is call them school, and ask for financial aid assistance. Just call up the enrollment place and I am sure they will direct you to where you can get your answer. They know when deadlines to fafsa are and many other things. From what I know fafsa deadline was always in july for me, in order to have fafsa for two semesters. I don't know how its like in every state. Good luck.
You missed the deadline. For the 2013-2014 school year, you must apply to FAFSa between March 1 - April 15. But you can go online anyway and try: FAFSA.gov, and also call your school's Fin Aid office ASAP and ask for their help. But from what I have seen, you are not getting any grants.
BTW - Your program and Fafsa applications can be done in any order, but the sooner the better. Just be sure to add your school(s) to the School List on Fafsa.
