So here's my situation.
I filled out the FAFSA back in February when my parents were still married; however, they recently got divorced and my dad is giving my mom child support. My question is, am I supposed to wait until next year's FAFSA to report their divorce or is it possible to update it on FAFSA now?
I do live with my mom, in case if that's needed.

your parents' divorce won't affect your FAFSA for this year
you will file showing your parents' divorce next year
The FAFSA instructs you to reply the questions about the father or mother you lived with more in the course of the past three hundred and sixty five days. If you did not live with one father or mother greater than the opposite, use the parent who supplied extra fiscal support during the prior twelve months, or for the period of the most latest year. You genuinely rec'd help. If that father or mother was remarried, you have to comprise the spouse's sales, too.
