I'm almost done with Segment 1 of one of my FLVS courses, but I don't love the class and now with normal school coming up, I doubt I'll be able to do that good on FLVS.

Is it possible to leave the course after I finish Segment 1?

~~~It is possible to withdraw from the class with no grade on your transcript if you do so within 28 days of being activated in the class. If it has already been over 28 days, you are stuck in the class and must finish it. If you withdraw after 28 days, you will receive an F, failing grade, on your transcript.

Would I still get 0.5 credit even if I don't do Segment 2 (even though I'm enrolled for it)?

~~~It is not possible to do that. You can't withdraw halfway in. If you sign up for both segments, you must complete both segments, not just the first one.

You have to finish both segments. As the pace requirement for FLVS is 3 assignments a week in most courses, you could work on them afterschool, or on the weekend and still have plenty of time for your normal work.
