Ok so i took my camaro to the track last night and i was having fuel problems. Did my burnout and coming out of it my car just died. Wouldnt start. They pushed me off the line and after sitting for about a minute she fired right up. They let me make my pass, and in first and second gear (WOT) the car just didnt want to go, felt like it was beggin for fuel but wasnt getting any. So i got out of it, shifted into third and she ran just fine the rest of the way. It only did this at WOT.
When i got back to my pit, i check my in line fuel pressure gauge and it read 3 PSI. So i let it sit for a while, started back up and it read 5 psi. shut it off, waited a few mintues, started back up and it read 4 psi.
Today I went started the car and it read 7 psi, which i believe is wear it should run.
In the past i had problems with the car randomly dieing, but that went away up until now.
Is this a regulator problem, filter clogged? Maybe even timing issue? i dont have a timing gun.
another thing to add, i dont think this really applies, but i only have a 60 amp alternator, and at times i can tell that it is not putting out enough amps. plan on replacing this soon
Update:also when car is cold, it sometimes can be difficult to start, but this car is built to for drag racing

I am assuming you are asking about the pressure regulator?
It is a possibility that it is either set too low or malfunctioning. There is also the possibility of a clogged fuel filter and even a faulty pump.
Check pressure at tank line (before filter) then check pressure after filter (before regulator) to rule out the good portion of system.
Well, either the fuel pump is on its way out or you have a restriction in the fuel line to the tank - fuel filter, pick up sock or crimped line.
