ok I have a 1996 suburban , 5.7 L vortek v-8 . Today it just died on the road. At first I thought it was the fuel pump , had problems before. It is getting fuel all the way to the valve that is up by the throttle body but it won't get fuel to start. I can put fuel in by hand and it will start. Please help I'm not a mechanic but don't have the cash for 1 either. I do know as I said it gets fuel all the way up the line what comes next.

sounds like a bad fuel pressure regulator, I got a 1998 k1500 5.7 and just replaced mine cause it ran so bad.
good luck
perhaps you will desire to have had the mechanic do the job? Ha! Did you turn the gasoline in/out line on the gasoline rail, tank, or filter out? particularly straight forward and that i've got been engaged on vehicle for 15 years and nevertheless just about do it as quickly as and awhile. Is the pump getting skill? are you able to take heed to it?
