I would like some information from someone who has studied electrical engineering. I intend on starting the undergrad course in electrical engineering next year and I was wondering about the lab work/write up.
1. Generally, what is the maximum and minimum length of a lab report(in terms of pages)?
2. How frequently are lab experiments conducted?
3. How much time on average is given for a student to complete a lab report? to complete a lab report?

1. I agree with the 1 to 10 pages estimate.
2. One lab per week on a normal semester. Plan about 3 hours per lab.
3. You usually get a week. It would take at least one day of full time work to write it. (Writing the report takes longer than the experiment.) If you work with a partner and turn in one report, you can divide up the work.
1. 1 to 10 pages.
2. Twice a week.
3. Until the next class. A few days.
About 4-10 pages... although I wrote a 15 page report before. Keep in mind your EE reports don't really start until the second semester of your sophmore year or junior year
