Going to Australia.. passport question?
one of my friends want to come here to Aus in feb, but hasn't got her passport yet. apparently she has to hold the passport for 2 months before she can come to Australia.. is that true, and if so then why?

Definitely not true. As soon as she has her passport, she can apply for an Australian visa and can come to Australia as soon as she has the visa. The time it will take to get her visa depends on the visa in question and her country of citizenship.

no that's not true. once you have a passport you are welcome to go to Australia.
