You should find a second hand Canon t3i
or Nikon d5100
both have swivel screens and you can switch out lenses
both produce 1080p videos
Cinematography requires film cameras or what Hollywood is going to now - digital. These cameras, the digital ones, are running about $55,000 each. Panaflex 35mm film cameras, commonly used for many years in Hollywood run about $70,000, no accessories, no lenses.
If you're talking digital then you'd fail my class because you don't even know your terms. You can not film with a digital camera - that's impossible because these cameras don't use film, they record video.
Do some terms research first, learn what's proper and what's not.
Since you admittedly don't know much about cameras how is it you plan to make videos when you probably don't even know how to turn on one of these cameras.
Reading first, best bet. Study up on what's what and quit worrying about putting the cart before the horse - it'll be a waste of money.
I would suggest Canon 60D as there is this 'software' called magic lantern which you could download to add more cinematic/filming functions to it. Also, it has a vari-angle screen which would aid in capturing films.
