There are two movies
Gurren Lagann: Gurren hen
Its about the time where simon and kamina and others get together till the parts of the story from episode 1-15 in short.
Gurren lagann: Lagann hen
Its about the journey ahead and the battle with anti spiral
Oh btw this movie has around 20 mins extra clips from the anime and well a surprise durng the ending =)
not the one in the anime so wont spoil for you

The Second half of the series with the anti-spirals and all that.
some parts are cut off like the origins of Nina's jiji protector, but there is an epic battle in the first movie which is worth watching. :3
