How can I feel comfortable around my boyfriend's popular friends?
Most of my boyfriend's friends are the popular people at school and I don't feel at all comfortable around them. I always feel like the nerdy white girl. (in my school white is the minority and my boyfriend and a lot of his friends are black)
How can i make myself feel more comfortable around them?
He also told me that I act different in public and when it's just us together and I agree. I don't try it and I don't know how to just be normal.

he chose you over any of the popular girls so that kinda elevates your status automatically. you are the most popular to HIM since you have more of his time. try not to be intimidated by them and you will do fine.
People can be popular for different reasons but i think if they werent nice people , they wouldnt be popular for long. there may be mind games that are played once in a while but if you treat people the way you want to be treated you will gain their respect
remember that they're just people just like you. they wont say or think anything bad about you because you are their friend's girl. even if they do, the wont be sayin it to you and your bf.
