I have a pomerainian/cockerspaniel mixed, and her fur grows out nice bright and fluffy in the winter, but she goes nearly bald quickly in the summer...why? Is there anything i can do to treat her fur? conditioner or something?
This happens to my dog as well, and she's a Pit Bull. She just has allergies. My dog will get bald patches during the warmer months but get all her fur back in the colder months.
You can talk to your vet and ask them if there is any allergy medication that you can give her to help prevent her hair loss, but there may not be anything that will help. Still, it doesn't hurt to try.
