how do video files show up on computer reports?
I had some videos on my computer deleted a while back. recently my computer has been acting weird so i told my parents to see if there was anything we could do to fix it if it is a virus. Would these videos appear on the report? and if so would they be viewable or would they just be the file names?

It depends upon the report; video files can be large, and if you are running out of hard disk space, then they likely will show up on some kind of space utilization report. However, if a virus scanner is ran, the video files most likely will not show up, assuming they are virus free. And yes, probably just the file names.
If you want to be sure they're gone, install a program such as Eraser to clean the disk space.
But I doubt any technician would care.
