I'm transfering to another college for the spring 2009 semester and I am going to get a scholarship. How many semesters or years does that scholarship last? Do they go by your college GPA to determine if you get a scholarship or your high school GPA.

It depends if the scholarship came through the school or an outside source. In my case, the school gave my daughter the scholarship and thus, it was not transferable.
And generally they use your latest GPA.
It really depends on the scholarship type. If it's an academic scholarship, then you will have to maintain the specified GPA in order to continue benefiting from the scholarship.
But the terms and conditions of the award will always be stated by the scholarship provider.
