okay. so i used to do ballet pretty much 24/7 when i was little from when i was about 3 or 4 to 5 or 7, maybe 8. i had to stop and just now got back into it, as in practicing. im going to take classes soon. how long until i am en pointe? as you saw, i am able to stand en pointe without shoes, and i know its not good, so dont snap at me please. i just wanted to show you what i could do.
Update:also, i know im not really on a good rise at some points, but im on carpet so give me a break please.

a lot of it depends on where you dance at and how advanced at ballet they want you to get before letting you begin pointe. I'm not sure how old you are, but whatever you do, don't start pointe until your feet have finished growing. It can damage your growth plates and cause serious problems. probably not what you want to hear, but it's not worth it. just worry about getting down your technique because everything's harder on pointe shoes, I've been in ballet for 13 years and done pointe. best of luck!
If ure an older girl u should be able to be on pointe maybe six months after you restart..But it depends on what studio you go to for the teacher to decided not us sorry
