I saved my Windows Movie Maker file to the AVI. format and attempted to import it into Effectslab Pro and it showed up, but wouldn't play. When I played the time line the actual video did not show up (although it was clearly on the timeline) and the screen continued to stay black. Please help me out on this one.

Hi, guys, it's the video format issue. As I know, Effectslab Pro supports mpeg file well, so you need to use a right software to convert your saved avi file to the right mpeg file for Effectslab Pro. I am using RZ Video Converter which can convert any videos or audios between different formats with good quality, such as convert your saved avi file to the right mpeg file for Effectslab Pro, etc. Yahoo or google search and download RZ Video Converter. Hope it can help you.
