I have to reinstall my audio driver download each time and then it's fine after that. I run on Windows XP. I have also done virus scans, and nothing comes up. Is there a simple solution to this problem? Thanks.

Your best bet is to contact microsoft or your pc vendor this is nothing to do with virusses u could always add a sceduled task to load the driver each time your pc starts or you could hibernate your pc that would definitly work for a tempory solution
migt have died , would want a valid card. did you examine the audio equipment have capability and consider in the event that they artwork with yet another gadget. mp3 participant and so on whether that could be a cd enjoying out of yourcontinual , an audio cable would have come loose.
It could because you have two sound cards, one you bought and one that came with the motherboard. The last driver loaded is considered the primary sound card the other sound card would be the secondary sound card. If you have two sound cards (look in the back), if your sound stops working, the sound is probably being diverted to the other sound card. If you have two sound cards, you can disable one of them in your device manager. You can make two sound cards work for you by so you can play your music CDs on your computer while playing video games.
