i want to know how to design a gear pump to transport Castro oil to a head of 250m.?
the design processes and calculations will be appreciated and any resources that will help me in the project.

Here is one book and one software package that might help. You should also check your local library. Sometimes they can borrow technical books from other libraries.
With an average density of .865 Ã 10^3kg/m^3 the pump will need a minimum output of
101.3kPa à .865 à 250m/9.8m/s^2 = 2.249mPa = 330.32psi
This is well within the range of gear pumps (which see).
