Wicca is a spiritual path. Just as Christianity/Roman Catholic is and while there are similarities between the two there are also vast differences. Those differences, in my opinion, don't allow for you to really be on both paths at the same time. The Craft (spells, potions, magick, etc) is a part of Wicca but it isn't the crux of what Wicca is. As I stated, Wicca is a spirituality ... a religion of sorts. I understand that reading a book series about magick is fun, heck, I'm reading Kim Harrison's Hollow Series right now but there is a difference between fiction and reality. Enjoy the books and perhaps read up more on Wicca but understand that it is about MORE than having fun. It's a way of life.
