You should have gotten just the regular Dial antibacterial, the lotion may irritate the piercing.

I agree with Tiffany. You should have gotten regular liquid Dial Antibacterial Gold. That's the one I used. Most soaps with fragrances, lotions, etc can cause redness and irritation on the piercing causing it to take much longer to heal or not heal at all.

Of course it's safe :).
