Intel D102GGC2 memory problem.?

I have an Intel D102GGC2 motherboard it supports 2GB of DDR2 memory and it has a Pentium D 840 processor. I'm using Mushkin Silverline DDR2 ram. 2x1GB kit. What I've found is with both sticks of ram in the board wont post. But it will if you only have one stick in. I've switched out the sticks of Ram and both of them work in it alone, but when ever you put the full 2GB of ram in the board, you turn it on and nothing. No beep codes, no video, nothing. I've also tried another set of ram and same thing happens with them. I looked around in BIOS and didn't see any settings that looked helpful. Any ideas?

Update:

Were talking about just getting it to POST with the 2GB of ram. I been working on computers for 9 years and I've tried just about everything aside from BIOS upgrade which is always a pain.

Update 3:

SOLVED! SOLVED! SOLVED! SOLVED!

I just found the working solution to get both sticks working together. in BIOS under "Advanced" I went into "Chipset Configuration" then "Memory Configuration" changed the "Memory Control" to "Manual - Aggressive" and set memory frequency to "667MHz" the highest option it gives you. After doing this both sticks of RAM finally work together now. I updated BIOS so if you don't have an option for memory configuration then you may have to update BIOS first. I had to make these changes with only one stick of ram in and once I changed the settings and saved them I turned it off, added the other stick of ram now its running fine. -Cheers!-
