So the colors on my HP dv4-1313dx are REALLY light, and the contrast is too high (the high contrast causes some pictures to look weird, when they look perfectly fine on any other PCs). Fn+F7 only darkens the screen (in other words, it just decreases the light the screen gives off), leaving the colors and contrast the same, so I was wondering if there was any way to change those? It seems dumb that a PC monitor doesn't have the option to do that when any regular TV does.

Go into your video card settings. They should allow you to adjust contrast, brightness, gamma, etc
