I recently had a metabolic panel blood test done and would like to know if my total and free testosterone levels are normal. I had it done at Quest, and it all shows in range, but the information I looked up online gives different ranges for normal.
My total testosterone is 20 ng/dl. Quest gives an in range reference of 2-45 ng/dl.
My free testosterone is 3.0 pg/ml. Quest gives an in range reference of 0.1-6.4 pg/ml.
So, am I normal...high...or low?
Update:I am female, btw

You look to be pretty squarely in the middle of the "normal" range, so I wouldn't worry about it. Different labs will use different reference ranges. If they're radically different ranges, it usually means the test technology is different. If the ranges are just somewhat different, it usually means they have different "cutoff" points for what is considered "high" or "low." Since you're right in the middle of the reference ranges in both tests, there's nothing to worry about, unless you're having strange symptoms or signs of "virilization" ie growing facial hair or lots of body hair, menstrual irregularities etc.
The testosterone point is comparatively low in assessment to men. in case you ever see a female with an unusual quantity physique/facial hair, it is through an some distance better than testosterone.
