I have a 2002 honda civic and i bought a keyless entry however I tried installing it using the instructions that came with it but it won't work! any tips on how to get it to work...
My best advise for is to go and get it installed by a pro...because messing with wires i dont think its a good idea....i know that you have to pay for it but atleast you dont have to break your own car and end up paying more..

I bought one for an '02 CR-V and had no problem coding it. Did you follow the directions correctly?
Let's see can I remember how I did it?
1 Get in the car
2 Close the doors
3 turn on the ignition switch [completely on not just to ACC]
4 push the lock button on the remote
5 turn off the ignition switch [all the way to the lock position]
6 repeat steps 3,4 & 5 again
7 repeat steps 3 & 4 again
8 when you hear what sounds like the locks actuating but they don't actually lock then press the unlock button on the remote
I think that's how mine worked! Whether a Civic is the same as a CR-V or not I don't know.
If this doesn't work try the instruction here--> http://www.handa-accessories.com/crv/KEYLESSPROG.p...
