My dad got a new router, but for some reason when laptops are connected to it, it only works for one use. The nest time the computer is turned on, the wireless capability is not only turned off (like you get when you disable it with your keyboard) but completely missing. All that appears is a symbol of a monitor (like the one that indicates you are connected to ethernet) with a red X on it. I was able to fix it by doing a system restore on mine, but my dad wasn't so lucky. Does anyone know what is going on or how to fix it?
