Los Angeles vs. New York City?
Okay so my dream has always been to work in fashion. My parents didn't understand that at first, but now they're okay with it. I'm a junior in high school and know for a fact that I want to work in fashion. For college, I really want to move to Los Angeles, but they say that I need to move to New York City. I know NYC is the capital of fashion, as I've been there many times, but I really want to move to Los Angeles because I love that city so much. Is it stupid to move to LA when I know I have more chance of success in NYC?

snap ! i really wanna do Fashion but i live in the uk UM i would say move to new york because if you do study you could build up useful contracts in the industry and they could offer you a job but im not sure but always do you Research into fashion because it is a hard competitive Business i do study fashion now and i know if i do decide to go to uni away from london im most like gonna have to come back their to work well most likey! lol

You know with all the movie stars and paparazzi.....there is a huge fashion industry in LA.....and UCLA is on of the best fashion colleges in the country.......Here is a list of top fashion designers in Cal

I live in NYC. I personally don't like living here but it might be different In a collage. Do what you want move to LA if you want.
