The thing that makes mineral makeup have that great glow is the foundation. I am a makeup artist and am frequently asked how to get that celebrity glow. There are two ways to achieve this. 1) I use the faerie organic mineral foundation as this alone leaves a gorgeous dewy celebrity *Glow (while covering imperfections and it is completley natural- no preservatives or cheap fillers. 2) After applying the foundation and mineral veil I go back with the FAERIE GLOW and brush it on the tops of the cheekbones, inner corners of the eye and the browbone, this achieves that perfect celebrity glow that everyone tries to get. I have tried these same techniqueswith other products and the results are just not the same. The objective is to selectively place the shimmer/ glow otherwise you can get a grease face look. I personally use faerie organic on all my clientel and they love it! Check out there befores and afters http://www.faerieorganic.com/ You can get FREE samples at there site here
Physicians Formula has Retro Glow Illuminating Face Powder. It evens out your skin tone & leaves a subtle pearly shimmer~~ your face will glow with this. Plus its hypoallergenic, fragrance free, & Dermatologist approved.
If thats not enough shimmer & glow check out PF's Multi-Colored Highlighter. Its lightweight and sheer yet lights up your face in a natural way. You can apply over your regular foundation or over your moisturized face.
I don't like the applicator that comes with this~~ I prefer Sonia Kashuks brushes. Hers are softer & bristles dont fall out.
Napoleon gleamer is the BEST! everyone always complements me on my skins radiance.
(only thing is its not mineral)
Love, ive bought mineral makeup which cost me a fortune and its a waste of money. I found the foundation to be horrible and the blush was so bright it would have been more appropriate for a clown! (i like a more natural look)
Loreal makes a great glowing powder. I would definitely recommend the Loreal blush, it looks simply beautiful on. With it being summer you could pair the Loreal mineral blush and bronzer and it would look great!

You don't have to get mineral makeup to make your face glow. Jane makes a good shimmering bronzer for under $6 that will give your face a nice glow.

Bare Essentials has the best mineral make-up. It's what they specialize in. It looks the best and is the best for your skin.
I believe Nuertogena or Almay has a mineral line out as well. That's a less expensive alternative.
I love it and u will too--well worth the money!
