They hurt really bad, but I'm betting they are gonna get worse as the night bears on..
I ate mashed potatoes and pear squares for lunch at school because I couldn't even eat chicken nuggets.
What can I eat to make them feel better? (I just got them this morning.
I'm 14 and I was trying to eat healthy, so is prefer no suggestions for icecream or cake an what not.
I'm also worried about getting food stuck in my braces and it looking gross. How do I avoid that?
Thanks! Xoxo

have confidence me, almost all and sundry who has been in braces has been by using what you're dealing with. there isn't something heavily incorrect and the discomfort is basically short-term. The worst of the discomfort is long previous in 40 8 to 72 hours, then that's basically a splash sore, then not something. Aleve works 12 hours at a time (longer than ibuprofen). you additionally can attempt Ambesol or Orajel to objective to quickly numb the worst areas. that's going to be much greater uncomfortable once you attempt to bite, so attempt soup, oatmeal, applesauce, or a meal substitute like Sustacal.
Aww, take some tylenol it's really all you can do. They should start hurting in a few days, If they start to rub on your lips or gums get some dental wax to place over them. Food will get stuck! Lol they have special dental floss for braces, ask for some.
If you JUST got braces put on, the pain will be about 4 days to a week. I'd recommend having yogurt, pasta, soups, and only things that are soft. Hope this helps! :) x
