i have 2 question about my common pleco
One is sometime he just lay down at the gravel and his lips ISN'T sucking on anything is this fine ?
two i drop in algae wafers for him and most of the time he doesn't go for it like other pleco would so the wafer just lay there, so is it fine if i just let the wafer sit in the tank and not fish it back out ?

One thing I've noticed with plecos is that as they get bigger, they get lazier, and are happy to just sit on a rock and watch the world go by a lot of the time.
The way to check it's getting enough to eat is to look at it's belly. If it's got a slight bulge outward, he's in good condition, and getting enough to eat. If the belly looks sunken and "hollow", then he's starving.
I usually drop the algae discs in just before lights out, the plecos are more active at night. Take out any leftovers in the morning. If the discs are vanishing, AND your pleco is fat, then things are OK.

If your Pleco really isn't eating, than there's something wrong.
What that something is we can't know unless you add more details including:
- Aquarium size.
- How long established?
- Cycled? How?
- Other tank mates?
- Water parameters? (Ammonia, NitrITE, NitrATE?)
- Temperature?
- How long has the Pleco been in the tank?
That being said, Common Plecos are nocturnal, and so eat best after all the lights are out.
In addition to Algae Wafers, your Pleco would benefit from some veggies such as Dark Leafy Greens and Zucchini.
My pleco is the same size and he also does that and doesnt seem to eat the algae wafers so i think its fine
They also like frozen peas... well ours did.
