So, I have a 1g SD card that I plug into my PC(Windows 7), a light that indicates whether the card is in correctly turns on, meaning it's in correctly. However, in my PC, nothing pops up, under "My computer" there is no SD card or removable drive save locations. "Send to" does not give me my SD card in my drop-down list, and nothing seems to work.
Any idea how to resolve this?

In Windows (Vista, 7, 8) use Disk Management to format the SD card as FAT32/NTFS (FAT32 for using it in a camera/camcorder)

If it still doesn't work, perhaps your SD card has failed!
Uidiot has a good answer, but a quick test would be to try another SD card and see if the PC reads that - then you know where the problem is. Card or computer. then try a USB stick, then try a USB card reader in the same port and so on.
