When I start a new email . . . my curser is located 4 lines DOWN instead of @ the top (beginning) line.

This started when I changed my "signature" . . . but I have gone back into my signature, there was ONE extra line there. I deleted that line & now the curser is located on the SAME line AS my signature & I have to up arrow to get to the beginning line of my emails.

How do I get my curser to be there at the TOP line (beginning) of my new (compose) emails, PLEASE?
