i dont think its that bad. i mean if it hurts, you might want to get it checked out, but if it doesnt hurt, then it shouldnt be much to worry about. i can pop my elbows and shoulders but i think its because im double-jointed.
Try to warm up your joints first. You may just need to get stronger to help support the area so that your not popping... Try free weights for a while. Also stretch before and after workout.

its somewhat normal. the only thing i can suggest is doing some prolonged stretching before and sometime during a workout as well as after.
