My laptop is a Windows Vista 32 bit and for some reason it won't even recognize the Sims 3 disk. I have cleaned the disk itself, the disk holder (or whatever the proper name it has / w \;; ) and nothing. It won't show up in the My Computer section, like it's not even in there at all. Keep in mind a different game I have works just fine and shows up. Also that I've downloaded Sims 3 before but due to reasons, I had to uninstall it. It worked fine, albeit a bit laggy but it it wasn't too distracting. My laptop IS about 4 years old so...Any help? / w \;;;;;(btw not sure if I put this in the right category so ;;; ). My laptop won't recognize my Sims 3?

My laptop is a Windows Vista 32 bit and for some reason it won't even recognize the Sims 3 disk. The only thing you can try is putting The Sims 3 disk into another DVD drive on another computer and see if it recognizes it. It it doesn't then it looks like you'll have to download a copy of buy another.
