i would get the ds lite. i have both the original and the lite and you can really feel and see the difference between the two.

This depends on if your willing to cough up extra money to get it! You won't be able to sell your DS for much and DS Lites are much dearer! My opinion is that the DS Lite is better because:

Lighter

Sleeker (feels better to hold)

Brighter screens

Many more Accessories (plus more will be made)

Latest (having the latest means anything that comes out for only the newest thing will be available to you)

Internet (only DS Lites are combatible with the web browser)

depending look the DS lite is obviously smaller and looks better but it is more fragile and with time some pixels may die and one screen is yellower than the other but it has a bighter screen and better stylus it depends on you though
