Nintendo dsi XL vs wii?
I have a wii I like it all but im thinking of exchaning back and buying a nindtendo dsi xl. I would have to share with my sister 2. And I like pokemon games even though im 13 but I find them fun. Also me and my sis are going on a 5 hr plane ride to Maine and i think i would be bored to have nothing. And also the nintendo dsi Xl is portable. What do you think I should get or keep. does dsi go online? I wouldn't really care if I can't play with my friends. Also though my sister barley plays. Also dsi games are so much less expensive and I only have 1 wii game and my mom won't let me buy anymore bu if i get a dsi i can buy a couple.

Sounds like in your situation, the DSI XL is the better option. When I first got a DS, I stopped playing console games for a long time, so I don't think you will miss your Wii all that much. Also what is the point if you only have one game?
Yes, the DSI XL can go online. It has a built in internet browser and a lot of the games support online play. It also isn't a bad thing to like Pokemon "even though you're 13", I still like pokemon and I'm 19. But I grew up with the older ones, and don't really like the newer ones much. Which is why I would recommend either Heart Gold or Soul Silver, remakes of the gameboy color gold and silver.
The DSI would be great for your 5 hour plane ride. You wouldn't be able to bring your Wii and play it on the plane xP
Then again, the 3DS will be coming out shortly, putting the DSI to shame. You might be better off just keeping your Wii, it is better than the DSI in the long run (minus the portability factor). I'm sure your mom will let you get some more games for the Wii later on.
No way, don't get a dsi XL. Although it is less expensive, the Wii is certainly better. The prices for games are cost more but are definitely worth it. And new games from Mario are coming out like every month: New Super Mario Bros Wii (which is on nintendo but wii one is WAY better) and Super Mario Galaxy 2. On Wii you can play multiplayer unlike dsi which you have to download for hours trying to look for other nearby players. Keep your Wii!
you will get the DSiXL because of the fact even with the incontrovertible fact that the 3DS is coming, it's going to be coming in march of 2011. while the 3DS comes out, commerce interior the XL to get it extra low-cost. The XL is a lot extra effective then the Wii.
