Last week I noticed the level in my coolant reserve tank was below the "min" mark. This past Monday I filled up the reserve tank with more coolant all the way up to the "max" line. I checked the reserve tank today (two days later) and the coolant level is about an inch or some below the max line.
Is this normal? It's been hot (high 90s) and have been running my a/c. Is it normal, or a sign of a leak. I checked under the car and there are no signs of a leak.
Update:The car is a 2005, with about 35,000 miles. I have the 1.8 S (Special Edition) trim. And I don't know the engine type.

Always check the level in your radiator when cool.
Forget the reservoir. Check the radiator.
Year and motor type please how old how many miles? Yes water eveporates and expands and contracts. Always remove the radatior cap only when the engine is cold and chaek the coolant level when cold somewhere between the max and min lines and under the rad cap full to the top. Use 50/50 antifreeze mix. Keep an eye on the coolant and other fluid levels. Hopefully no leaks or problems. 90's I wish I could say that! High last monday 105 today over 100 again no releif in sight.
