No more anonymous Prepaid Phones?

Because of the guy who tried to set off the car bomb in NY the government may try to force all prepaid phone companies to require valid ID before you can buy a prepaid phone. Do you think this is another loss of freedoms or is it ok with you? And do you buy the line it's "The hope is that this would make it easier for law enforcement to track down criminals"

So buy a European phone or a second hand one off ebay, it seems like a knee jerk reaction that hasn't been thought through.

umm i dont think itss the best law umm have they ever taught about litle kinds buying prepaid phones and when their about to pay they ask them for their ids they say no well moms can buy them for them so yea it sucks and u knw every person from pakista o anyone that comes and looks like them shouldnt be allowed in the usa did u knw that mostly all of them have citezinship thats bad i like mexicans way way better
