I just moved into this apartment last summer. And lately, I started noticing things. I often feel like I'm being watched in the shower. Now, my one cat (only about a year old) acts very strangely When he gets to one point of my house. You see, we live right next to my aunt in the same building. My cat always acts weird when he get to the top of my staircase. Now the top of my staircase is right next to the middle of my aunts staircase, only a thin wall separating the two. My cat will his and scratch and literally attack this wall, and only this wall. Now this is where it starts to get creepy. My older brother (who will be turning 19 in two days) has always felt, even when he was a little kid, felt like there was a presence on my aunts staircase when we visited. And he still feels that's way now. And one time, not to long ago, we were about to leave. Me, my two brothers, (anothy 15 and mathew 18) and me, to the supermarket idk whatever, and my mom forgot her keys upstairs so she told my mathew to go get them. When he got back, he was panting heavily. We asked him what was wrong and he said that he felt as if something was chasing him don't the stairs. Also, just a few days ago, it was real late at night. Everybody was asleep but me. I heard a very loud crash and glass shatter. I rushed out into the hall to see that still, nobody was up. A picture that was hanging in my hallway on a high wall had fell. No one knocked it down, and since everyone was asleep, the house was very still. The glass on the picture was shattered into a million peices. But what the picture actually was..that's what really scared me. The picture basically said that god is amazing and Jesus is our savior and stuff. What is this? Ghost? Demon? Please help.

Pictures sometimes fall even if nobody is around. I wouldn't put anything into that. The other part sounds creepy, though. For some reasons, some spirits do congregate on staircases. One of the two spirits here is always at the top of a staircase. She died downstairs; we think that is why she has never come down. Anyway, what you can do is do a blessing of the two homes. Since just a thin wall separates the two staircases, blessing your home might not cut it. I think you will need to do both.
You have a serious problem there. Someone that used to live there before engaged in behaviors that are evil, or they brought something cursed into the house that gave evil spirits the right to come and stay. They may act up more in response, but you are now protected by God's power.
2) Put on Christian worship music on all day. Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Gateway Church, Michael W Smith. Evil spirits cannot stand christian worship music as it reminds them of their destiny. They often flee from it.
3) You have to figure out what gave them the right to come and stay in the house. Then you need to repent on behalf of the people that used to live there before and ask God for forgiveness, and for the power of Jesus Christ to cleanse your family and the house.
