I want to compare how we are motivated by the undeniably of death to accomplish goals an be successful in life to something where there is a set period of time and one must accomplish as much as possible during that time. (i was thinking soccer or basketball but i dont really like those comparisons)

I live life from my deathbed...
Whenever thinking about doing something, what to do with my time etc, I think "If I was on my deathbed, would I be happy with this decision? Am I wasting time doing this thing?"
It's important to ask yourself "when I'm on my deathbed looking back at my life, did I live the best life I could?" In a sense, we live our lives backwards. Knowing you're going to die gives you this beautiful idea; and it is beautiful! It one of the many profundities of Atheism.

everyone's life is driven by something. i think the basic motive for success is driven by envy and jealousy.There are so many forces that drives your life but all lead to the same dead end: unused potential,unnecessary stress, and an unfulfilled life until we die.
